So excited that my poem, “Bathed in the Moonlight” (featured in my new book ‘Ebb & Flow‘) is part of the National Poetry Month Outdoor Exhibit in Collingwood, Ontario, Celebrating Connection
About the exhibit
Creative poets and photographers were invited to submit work that is now ready to view along Collingwood’s Train trail between the Collingwood Museum and Collins Street.
The exhibition is in celebration of National Poetry Month this April. The poems are mounted and displayed with photographic works.
The theme for National Poetry Month is intimacy.
Whether a shared glance between strangers, a warm hug in a moment of comfort or heads bowed in deep conversation, we are intimate when we share our innermost thoughts or feelings with another.
The result is a sense of connection. This outdoor exhibition is a series of 18 poems and visual fragments, that convey intimacy. Viewed as two different and solitary means of creative communication, this exhibit brings poetry and photography together to take us somewhere new, help us rediscover something we thought forgotten or confirm what we felt was there all along.
